The story is pretty simple, but the mechanics are a little more difficult than Tale of Two Towns. but your crops will be of better quality if you're able to manage exactly how many sun/water points they receive. a rainy day wont give you any sun points but will instead give you 3 water points. for example: sunny days may give you 3 sun points, while a cloudy day only 1. every day you have to worry about how many sun points and water points your crops recieve. in fact, weather is where the note-taking becomes almost necessary. the weather system is more forgiving than Island of happiness, but its still a bit rough. Its a complicated game, so theres always something to be working on or working toward. Sunshine islands is awesome, but i warn you: you will need to take notes.
